Monday May 2, 2011 is election day. There has been a record number of votes cast in the advance polls. Contact with the Federal Government and officials can resume after the election.
Canada Europe Trade Agreement
Mr. Harper has declared his intent to conclude a trade agreement with the European Union by 2012. If un-amended the current draft agreement would cost the Canadian healthcare system an additional $2.8 billion a year because of an average delay to generic product market entry of 3.5 years. Provincial government’s savings under drug reforms would be wiped out if the European Union’s proposals were adopted.
