Pricing and Reimbursement Overview
Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan is working on a new pricing policy for generics which will create alignment with British Columbia and signal an end to standing offer contracts (SOC.) SOCs for six contracted molecules will remain for at least 2 years. Although it is currently unclear when reduced prices will be in place, the expectation is that the timeline for implementation will be announced shortly. Mylan should have details to share before the end of March. Ultimately, it is expected that Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan will share the same policies and timetables for such things as formulary dates, pricing changes and exceptions from pricing policies.
