The Privacy Policy explains how Mylan Canada may collect, use, and disclose Personal Information we obtain through the “Sites.”


“Mylan Canada,” “we” and “us” includes Mylan Pharmaceuticals ULC, our parent company, Mylan Inc., and our affiliates and subsidiaries. 

Sites” means collectively any website, mobile application or Internet service under the control of Mylan Canada, whether partial or otherwise, in connection with Mylan Canada’s online presence.

Personal Information” means information that alone or when in combination with other information may be used to identify, contact or locate you, such as: name, address, email address or phone number.


The information on the Sites are strictly intended for general information and educational purposes only. The information on these Sites are not intended to be used as medical advice or for diagnosing or treating medical conditions. We may collect Personal Information when you:

Using the Sites We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide on the Sites. For example, we collect information such as your name, address, telephone number, qualifications and educational background when you apply for a job. We also collect Personal Information such as your name, telephone number, email address, and image when you respond to surveys, post comments or pictures on our social media pages, request information from us, or otherwise interact with us online. For health care professionals, we provide an opportunity to login to a healthcare professional account on our Sites for product information and to access continuing education programs offered by us through our third party service providers. We collect your email address and password when you login to the said account.

Customer Relations We may collect Personal Information (such as your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number) through your communications with our customer relations team.

Cookies, Automatic Data Collection and Related Technologies The Sites may collect and store information that is generated automatically as you use it, including your preferences and anonymous usage statistics.

When you visit the Sites, we and our third-party service providers may receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and from cookies and similar technology. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Sites may not work properly.

By using the Sites, you are authorizing us to gather, parse and retain data related to the provision of the Sites.


We use Personal Information to:

    Communications We may send emails to the email address you have provided, through registration, for informational purposes.

    Facilitate Transmission of Information We may allow access to other data collected by the Sites to facilitate transmittal of information we think may be useful or relevant to you.


We may share your information:

  • to protect and defend our rights and property; and
  • with your permission.

We do not rent, sell or share Personal Information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission.

We Use Vendors and Service Providers We may share any information we receive with vendors and service providers in the U.S. or other jurisdiction(s) retained in connection with the provision of the Sites and so that they may perform their obligations and responsibilities to us.

Social Networking and Other Websites The Sites may allow you to share information, including Personal Information, with social networking websites, such as Facebook. We do not share your Personal Information with them unless you direct the Sites to share it. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.

As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures We may access, preserve and disclose your Personal Information, other account information and content if we believe doing so is required or appropriate under Canadian, U.S. or other law to: comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; respond to your requests; or protect your, our or others’ rights, property or safety.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of Mylan Canada’s assets or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. We cannot control how such entities may use or disclose such information after the completion of a transaction.


We take steps to help ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We have implemented measures designed to protect Personal Information in our custody and control. We also maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of Personal Information. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.


We do not knowingly collect information from children. We will take steps to delete it if we learn we have collected it.

We do not knowingly collect, maintain or use Personal Information from children, and no part of the Sites is directed to children. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, you may alert us at If we learn that we have collected any Personal Information from children, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.


As a convenience to our visitors, the Sites may contain links to the websites of another company or organization. When you click on one of these links, you will be transferred from our Sites and be connected to the website of the company or organization you selected. Our Privacy Policy does not apply when you leave our Sites.


The Personal Information collected on our Sites will be transferred to Canada and/or the United States.
